We would like to inform you of a recent decision made by Lyft and Uber, which is beyond our control. In April 2023, Lyft announced the discontinuation of their shared rides program called Lyft Shared. Additionally, Uber’s shared rides program, UberX Shared, currently does not support tax-free commuter benefits.
Edenred Commuter Benefit Solutions is ultra excited to announce a new addition to our product offerings. Now our customers can use their Pre-Tax Transit Benefits for Lyft Line! How cool is that?
We have recently partnered with Lyft, which means now CBS customers can use their Transit Benefits to pay for Lyft Line rides to commute to and from work.
Lyft Line makes it easy to form a vanpool with your coworkers or to hitch a ride with other commuters headed your way. Right now, Lyft Line is available for CBS participants in New York City, Boston, Seattle, and Miami. More cities will be added soon, and when they are, we’ll let ya know.
