Shop and Ride is a nifty new smart phone app that brings digital coupons to New Jersey commuters.
New Jersey commuters looking to save a few bucks need not look further. A new smart phone app Shop and Ride allows riders in the Hoboken area to receive “discounts, savings, and special offers from merchants along their routes.”
Shop and Ride tries to make offers personal by sending offers and discounts to riders “based on their preferences and travel patterns.” The app uses beacon technology, which allows for the connection between bus stops and shelters to nearby stores.
