However You Commute, We've Got You Covered

Transit Benefits

Transit benefits cover transportation via ferry, streetcar, bus, train and subway. Commuter Check Vouchers are great for small companies who want to manage their own commuter benefits ordering and distribution. We also offer the convenience and flexibility of the Commuter Check Prepaid Mastercard®, which allows employees to make transit-related purchases wherever Debit Mastercard is accepted. Terms & Conditions apply. See Cardholder Agreement.

We offer direct purchases of transit tickets, passes, Smart Cards (fare media), and the NYC Annual MetroCard. This means no waiting in line to redeem Commuter Check Vouchers or to use a prepaid card. You’ll receive it right at home.

And don’t forget vanpools. While you may not associate vanpools with mass transit, they are typically the only means of public transportation in non-metropolitan areas and are covered by transit benefits. Employees who participate in a qualified vanpool can use commuter benefits to pay for their monthly commuting expenses. We offer Commuter Check Vouchers and will make direct payments to your vanpool provider on your behalf.

Parking Benefits

Parking benefits can be used to help cover daily or monthly parking fees and can even be combined with transit benefits for those who park and then take the train. In contrast to popular belief, Parking Benefits do not cover gas, tolls or parking tickets. Sorry, Chicagoans and New Yorkers!

Our parking benefits come in several forms, allowing your employees to choose the product that’s best for them: Commuter Check Vouchers, Direct Pay, Cash Reimbursement or the Commuter Check Prepaid Mastercard. Terms and conditions apply for the Commuter Check Prepaid Mastercard. See Cardholder Agreement.

Biking Benefits

Employees who bike to work can earn a biking voucher each month. The biking benefit can be offered as a tax-deductible subsidy in addition to salary. Vouchers are available from $10 to a max of $20. Biking vouchers can be used towards equipment purchases, bicycle purchases, repairs or storage. They are redeemable at dedicated bicycle shops and bicycle parking and storage locations across the country.

Need some convincing on why you should offer biking vouchers for your employees? Here are some interesting facts and stats:

  • Adding just 30 minutes of cycling to your daily life saves you $544 in annual medical costs.
  • A study conducted by the smarties over at MIT in France found that bikes are 50% faster than cars during rush hour.
  • Biking is a major stress-reducer and can add to the quality of your life. It’s been shown to provide excellent therapeutic benefits for both the mind and spirit.
  • On average, people who bike to work lose about 13 pounds during that first year.
  • People biking to work don’t have to worry about unpredictable traffic patterns.
